AMERICAN COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION

The American Collectors Association is an international trade organisation of credit and collection professionals with members in the United States, Canada and 55 other countries world-wide.

Members have to meet certain specific requirements set by ACA before they can be accepted for membership. Amongst others, members must agree to comply with all applicable laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and must adhere to the guidelines established under ACA's Code of Ethics.
